Downtown Sanford: Strawberry Jammin’ 2026

Come out to Downtown Sanford for a berry good time at the annual Strawberry Jammin’ on Saturday, April 25th! From events at the Sanford Farmers’ Market to cocktail crawls, food strolls, live music and more, join to celebrate the fruit of the season.

Event Highlights
-Sanford Farmers’ Market (8:30AM-12:00PM): Kick off your morning at the Sanford Farmers’ Market (located at 132 McIver St.). Fresh Berries: Shop for the biggest, juiciest strawberries from local featured vendors.
Demos & Learning: Watch recipe demonstrations, get expert tips from Master Gardeners, and attend strawberry preservation seminars.
-For the Kids: Enjoy interactive children’s activities.
-Live Music: Tap your toes to a live bluegrass jam while you shop.
-Strawberry Food & Shopping Stroll (10:00AM-10:00PM): Take your taste buds on a tour through Downtown Sanford. Themed Eats: Over a dozen local restaurants and breweries will feature strawberry-inspired dishes, cocktails, and mocktails.
-Sip & Shop: Browse downtown boutiques for strawberry merchandise and special “shop & sip” deals. Refillable Tea Cups: Pre-order a Strawberry Sips Refillable Tea Cup for unlimited sweet and flavored tea refills at participating locations all day.
-Afternoon Entertainment Downtown Alive! Concert: Head to Steele Street for live music, food trucks, and a beer garden. There’s even a Fun Zone for the kids!
-DJ Party: Keep the energy high with a dance party in the evening.

This is a free public event. Pro Tip: If you want to make a weekend of it, Sanford is home to more pick-your-own strawberry farms than anywhere else in North Carolina. Plan a visit to Gross Farms or White Hill Farms to pick a bucket of your own!
