Online Lee County Extension Master Gardener(SM) Pollinator Plant Sale

The online Spring 2026 Lee County Extension Master Gardener(SM) Pollinator Plant Sale is live! The Extension Master Gardener Volunteers of Lee County are offering pollinator plants at discounted prices to the public in an effort to support their mission of providing horticulture education and outreach to the community.

Hosted by the Extension Master Gardener℠ Volunteers of Lee County. Transform your garden into a thriving ecosystem with plants that are North Carolina tough! Our 2026 Online Sale features a massive selection of perennials, grasses, and shrubs specifically chosen to support our local bees, butterflies, and birds.

First come, first served! Quantities of each plant species are limited and will be reserved when the order is placed.

Plants will be ready for pick up at the Extension Center located at 2420 Tramway Road, Sanford N.C. on Thursday, May 21st from 1:00PM-4:00PM and May 22nd from 9:00AM-1:00PM. You can also join both days for time in the Garden too! If neither of these times works for you, please contact the office at 919-775-5624 and they will work with you!

🌱 A SNEAK PEEK AT THE 2026 INVENTORY:

The Monarch Favorites: Butterfly Weed (Asclepias tuberosa) and a huge variety of Bee Balm (Monarda—including ‘Jacob Cline’, ‘Claire Grace’, and Spotted Bee Balm).
Late-Season Stars: ‘Sheffield Pink’ Mums, Goldenrod (Solidago), and several varieties of Asters (Symphyotrichum) to keep the pollinators fed into the fall.
Drama & Structure: Rattlesnake Master (Eryngium yuccifolium), Scarlet Rose Mallow (Hibiscus coccineus), and False Indigo (Baptisia).
Shade & Texture: ‘Autumn Bride’ Heuchera, Cardinal Flower (Lobelia cardinalis), and ‘Tifblue’ Blueberries.
Native Grasses: Little Bluestem (Schizachyrium scoparium) and ‘Golden Sunset’ Indiangrass.
