The New Main Library in Sanford is preparing for an exciting transition as it begins a soft opening period from April 20th-May 1st. During this time, the facility will operate with regular hours to allow staff to resume full services and establish long-term, sustainable operations.
The celebration officially culminates with a Grand Opening on Saturday, May 2nd, beginning with a formal ribbon-cutting ceremony at 10:00 AM. Guests are invited to spend the day exploring the library’s unique new programming through guided tours, live performances, and various interactive activities designed for the community.
