MonkeyKat Books invites readers of all ages to kick off Dragonfest—the official celebration of the bookstore’s second anniversary—with an unforgettable evening featuring New York Times bestselling author Scott Reintgen on Saturday, July 25th at 6:00PM at the historic Temple Theater, located at 120 Carthage Street in Sanford.
Get an exclusive, inside look at the highly anticipated third and final installment of his middle-grade sci-fi fantasy Dragonships series, The Void Dragons, ahead of its October 6th, 2026 release date. The night will also feature a reading, an audience Q&A session, plenty of surprises, and a book signing where fans are welcome to bring up to three of their own books for the author to sign.
Tickets are $30 plus tax, which covers your seat and includes your choice of a copy of either The Last Dragon on Mars or The Rise of Neptune, making it a perfect opportunity to celebrate community, local business, and epic adventures.
