Join the LCL Pokémon Club, now TWO TIMES a month, where young trainers ages 5 – 14 can learn, play, and explore the Pokémon Trading Card Game in a group setting! Battle with friends, trade cards, and enjoy hands-on Pokémon activities! Build reading, math, and strategy skills, all while having a blast. No experience needed! All supplies are provided and registration is not required. The American Association of School Librarians (AASL) and ALSC have partnered with The Pokémon Company International to bring Pokémon Clubs to libraries.

Join Lee County Libraries for our LCL High School Quiz Bowl Social – a fun, friendly introduction to the NAQT Quiz Bowl format and academic competition! Open to all Lee County high-schoolers – public, private, charter, and homeschool. Meet other teens interested in forming local quiz bowl teams (four or more students per school will be needed for competition), and practice your skills each month to prep for local and regional Quiz Bowl Competitions. Registration is not required and LCL Quiz Bowl Social will meet every first Wednesday and will be open to high school students only.

Learn how to make simple, tasty, and nutritious snacks with the help of our friends at the NC Cooperative Extension.
